Information Assurance Specialist
Description:
Serve as an Information Assurance (IA) subject matter expert as part of the Cyber Technologies center of expertise delivering solutions. Review and critique Certification and Accreditation (C&A) documentation in compliance. Assess program security compliance, support program briefs, and coordinate and compile program security-related documentation for various programs. Assist with the preparation and revision of IA policy and guidance documents for specific cyber security-related technologies. Participate in security architecture development and documentation and conduct vulnerability and risk assessments and testing as needed. Cyber Threat Analyst
Description:
Assist clients by monitoring workplace for potential security violations, incidents, malicious activity, and attacks to determine if policy has been breached, assess the impact, and preserve data. Support incident escalation and assess probable damages, identify damage control and remediation, and assist with developing courses of action. Supervise the installation, monitoring, testing, troubleshooting, and administration of IA hardware and software systems. Recommend, schedule, and perform IA system repairs, systems administration, and maintenance. Analyze patterns of non compliance or attacks and recommend appropriate actions to minimize security risks and insider threat. Configure, optimize, and test network devices; diagnose and resolve IA problems in response to reported incidents; enhance rule sets to identify or block sources or potential sources of malicious traffic; and support the design and execution of exercise scenarios.

Description:
Proactively assist client with new design and implementation for “effective and efficient” network-based cyber solutions to protect critical business processes and IT assets. Analyze, develop, and communicate possible cyber solutions to both senior executives and highly technical staff. Use data collected from a variety of Computer Network Defense (CND) tools, including intrusion detection system alerts, firewall and network traffic logs, and host system logs to analyze events that occur within their environment. Perform assessments of systems and networks and identify where those systems or networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy. Maintain knowledge of applicable CND policies, regulations, and compliance documents specifically related to client assets. Perform CND vulnerability assessments within the enclave, perform CND risk assessments within the enclave, conduct authorized penetration testing of enclave network assets, analyze site and enclave CND policies and configurations, and evaluate compliance with regulations and enclave directives.

Description:
Contribute by applying an advanced knowledge of information security services, analysis concepts, practices, and procedures. Description:
Assist clients by deploying security operations tools, including SEIM or log management, IDS or IPS, and incident tracking technologies. Description:
Research, develop, and test cyber-related capabilities and the vulnerabilities they exploit. Leverage technical insights to develop network-based cyber capabilities to help shape the technical direction of the program.
